Good Deal??

My mate’s ping g5 driver head cracked about 2 months back so he got the pro to send it back to ping. While waiting to hear back he bought himself a g10 driver (which he hits a mile!). Anyways, today he gets a call from the pro shop to say ping has sent a brand new g10 driver to replace the g5. Long story short, he’s offered me the replacement g10 for $280. We went to the range tonight and I hit it pure, all out of the guts and long! I’ve had a browse round the web for g10 prices and have prices ranging from $227 up to $499. Is $280 a good price??

This sounds like a Dorothy Dixer. Of course it is a good deal … The $227 has to be questioned, is it here or US ? obviously second hand, what condition? You can buy a new G10 from States for about $350 to $360 delivered. If you like the one you can buy for $280 then it sounds like a good deal to me. Hard to beat a golf club you like, what ever the price.

yeah g10 is a rock solid driver..mate has got one and I have hit about 10 balls with it…good for any handicapper dependednt on loft

I spent more on my G5 and it was a demo, great deal!!

Well done Lintz. I got one about a month back and it has added 10-15 metres on my drivers with a a more boring trajectory. It took me a while for me to be confident on the shaft selection, but it is a great club.
