My guess is +3…........Just another thing, why do they still invite players like Player and Fuzzy who have less than zero chance of winning? Surely they could let the 51st and 52nd ranked players in the world play for example. Perhaps they could give a few extra spots to some more elite amateurs?

Player and Fuzzy get to play until 65 I think because they are ex-champions. Agreed that they really should step aside for younger players but if you or I were in the same place I’m guessing we would keep playing til they put us in a box. :) UPDATE: Looks like that age limit was changed. Seems there’s now no age limit. http://www.sptimes.com/2003...

Gary Player is stone cold last in his 51st Masters. Fifty-first. Egad. Wonder how many Masters Tiger will play? Difference is, he will probably still make the cut when he’s 60.
Reverse every natural instinct you have and do just the opposite of what you are inclined to do and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing. - BEN HOGAN, POWER GOLF |

just the nature of the tournament, I remember about 8-10 years ago a ailing sam snead I think it was like in his 80’s or something sent a drive into the gallery that had lined either side of the tee and hit someone with a mishit at like point blank… probably 20m or so and just turned around and said to the camera….. in a frail old man way.. ooooops… I thought the original idea of the masters was the bet 30 US players, the best 30 international and 30 invitees… I am a fan of seeing the oldies out there… kind of sadistic but ….
who needs driver when a 3 wood will do??? |

Wonder how many Masters Tiger will play? Difference is, he will probably still make the cut when he’s 60. Once Tiger is not a realistic chance of winning he won’t play.

What happened to Lonard? He has never made a cut at the Masters and after the first day he is on -1 on his way to playing the weekend and this morning, I see he shoots a 81, the highest round of the day.

Maybe Jimmy Barnes was Peter’s caddy for the second round. A snowman +1…......Atleast he still beat Fuzzy and Player who had a butt of a time.
