Just because we get asked every year…... NETWORK TEN will broadcast all four days of the Masters Tournament LIVE in High Definition and on Tens regular channel. FOX SPORTS will show a delayed coverage. The telecast times are: NETWORK TEN (AEST) FOX SPORTS REPLAY:

Thanks admin, can’t wait – go the aussies :)

If the Masters starts at Thu 8:00 am local, why isn’t there any coverage from Wed 10 PM Aus time? Does the Masters tournament committee restrict television to the times specified above? With the British Open, Foxtel got to show coverage until Channel ? started up around midnight.

Never is muntz – they always restrict viewing for the Masters. Stupid but that’s the way it is.

down and out…did ya get that? |

Tried to watch the par 3 tournament this morning via the web ,it said not available in your location .Any techie know if there is any way around this. Most likely the mob at ch 10 don,t want any competition of there coverage.

:) Nothing to do with Channel 10. Unfortunately it will have to do with rights or sponsorship or both. If Exxon is sponsoring the par 3 internet coverage and paying for the bandwidth then they might only want US viewers. It is a silly time in the media between the old – TV and the new – internet. We should all be able to watch a full TV quality stream of the entire Masters anywhere in the world. I would pay $10 for full coverage and I’d say there would be millions who would. It’ll probably be 10 years before everyone wakes up to what they can do with the internet though. Just look at the record companies – they’ve just agreed to remove digital rights management form mp3’s 10 years after Napster…10 years of their heads up their $#%^.

just typical masters stuff really. they now and have for a few years controlled the TV coverage so they show what they want. They actually have a group of members who run the TV coverage
|

what is stopping people from watching via proxy over in the US? Just a thought.

Watched the coverage on HD early today , just a beautiful course. Few too many ads for that time of the day I thought.

I recorded it so I can flick through the ads tonight :)
