Me and some mates followed Ewan around for the round today and i must say that was the best round of golf i’ve ever seen in person, the wind was so strong and so constant it was just amazing to watch some of his ball striking and his great par saves on 6 and 10.

He even personally thanked us after the round because we were sharing a few jokes with him as we went around, he said it helped him take the focus off how nervous he was feeling. Good feeling to know we helped him to such an impressive victory, ha!

I read in the paper today that he dedicated the victory to one of his best mates that died in December. He spoke at the eulogy of his mate, and told his friend’s mother that he would dedicate his first win to his fallen friend…

That is a really great story…. Hats off to him….. Good luck to him in getting a US Tour card…..
