Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any turf driving ranges in Sydney?

Cheers.

The only one i know of is at rumcorp in Windsor.

I go to my local range at the most unpopular times and sneak forward onto the grass.

The Killarney Range at Vineyard on Windsor Rd used to have some turf hitting- not sure if they still do.

"the woods are full of long drivers"

Barton Park at Kogarah (near airport) has an area for a few golfers to hit off grass

Warriewood used to have a turf area – you’d need to call and check these days.

camden lakeside has a turf driving range with beautifully maintained couch grass and has about 4-5 target greens
you can hit up to driver
also has the practice green and bunkers
spend a few hours if you have the time
clubhouse right there so you can have a break
worth a visit

Central Coast I know of 2 driving ranges that are grass, Wyong and Bateau Bay. Wyong is OK and the one at Bateau Bay was really good last time I was there…Andre Stolz owns and runs the Bateau Bay one

Billy Dunk is my hero...

aidan, I’ll second that. Had a lesson there a few weeks ago and thought Brett was awesome.

I think that the Driving range at Narrabeen has some grass tees also.
but it has been a while . . . .
