Not sure, but we’re going to skip this weekend.

Congratulations to davego on his second win for the year! He opened the season T4, 1, T3 then had a run of missed cuts. He’s bounced back at the right time, picking up $2 mil for his Sunday Masters triumph. He’s now over $1.2 mil ahead of his nearest rival.

Second and third on the money list both figured in the Masters playoff, tied with davego after 72 holes. dougie1 and AlexMc both picked up $1 mil, and pushed past rebjon on the standings. AlexMc is still without a win but a T2 at the Masters is just as good.

The Wachovia marked the first prize money for the following punters: Danz (8 events), Neumie (3 events), sarg (2 events), Lintz and Bundy_Bear (both rookies). Well done Danz, I knew that “no draft” policy would pay off sooner or later.

That still leaves brentp (8 events) and Sonab (5 events) waiting for their first cheques this season. Their squads look strong enough on paper, but somehow they just haven’t clicked… Looks like they are fighting it out for the NAGA title this season.

Updated Money List – Memorial Tournament

We’re 10 tournaments into the season, and approaching the second major of the year – double money for all majors and FedEx playoffs, so time to tune those squads.

Amazing effort from heybrew to jump into 3rd place after making the cut in 4 out of 5 events – but most importantly winning the last two events. davego and dougie must be looking nervously over their shoulders (both DQed the Memorial). rebjon is 4th place now also missed the cut.

MrConsistency is starting to live up to his moniker (but not his avatar) with two big cheques in a row lifting him into 14th place overall. live4golf finished 3rd and is now 12th overall. I finished 6th and I’m 8th in scoring – but 19th overall – just can’t crack a podium finish to get some real cash.

It will be interesting to see how the new alternate rule plays out in our next event, the St Jude Championship.
