If Tiger plays Lefty will he be that good ? |

Blisters, That is what tape is for. Rain, I have an umbrella. The only things that keep me off the course are lightning, extreme winds and work. The latter does it way too often.

Rain, and blisters on hands and feet? I’d be curling up somewhere the girlfriend could nurse my aching limbs, playing Tiger Woods 08, and reading posts on iseekgolf :)

harden up I say My mate loved his golf so much even when he had a shoulder reconstruction he still went out and played with one arm (for 2 months)....it improved his golf as he developed great feel and swing plane and not to mention strength. theres no exscuse bar being run over by a truck

If I didn’t play golf when I had blisters, I would never play at all. The tape works wonders.

Last year I crushed the big toe on my left foot and nearly lost it. If you put a ripe plumb on the ground and jumped on it, that’s what my toe looked like. I have no idea of the amount of stitches they used to put it back together but there were plenty. There were only 4 tiny bone fragments they could find, the rest was crushed to pulp. As the surgeon said, they just stuck the bone fragments in there and sewed everything around them. I had to wear a moon boot for 6 weeks and couldn’t work for the same period. Grumpy_dog may remember a dude in a moon boot coming to his place to pick up a putter. I still went and played a couple of rounds of golf during this time but drove around in a cart. I also beat my handicap on both occasions! I agree, harden up! A mate of mine has two wooden legs due to a car accident. Do you think that stops him from playing every week? Well yes it does, but two wooden legs is pretty cool so I just thought I’d mention it.

Thanks I work in the sports industry and read a lot of coaching books..manuals I recently heard a great interiew about herb elloit while driving he trained in the heat and cold (even close to competitions) because it made him tougher mentally…in some ways physically it would weaken him…but while all the other athletes were at home he was out there…he was like undefeated for years..

Indeed, Golf is at least 75% mental

hmm not quite sure….its repeat target game…we forget its a target game Its why when you parctice you need to have something to aim at yes its mental but is more technique based game which requires you to repaet something…take away pressure we can all repeat it…add pressure on staurday arvo we got to water!!
