Merry Christmas to the ISG team. Thanks for briging us a great forum :) As a beginner, I’ve found the help here great. I also really like the course review feature, though I would like to see an index on the product review page rather than having to use just the search tool.

Little bit after Christmas but
I wish to add my appreciation to ISG for giving us all the opportunity to be heard .Some, the minority of members , a very small minority it seems,can’t help themselves by being critical of others and in some cases very obnoxious and unnecessarily so in some posts .So while everyone has the right to express their opinions don’t make them offensive or personal and we will all enjoy the forums much more.Happy christmas and good health and happiness in the new year.

Hope everyone did have a good feed and mellow out session on Xmas day. Us in the West are meltingggggggggggggggg.

Just for comparison, I looked at an American golf forum associated with a high profile site. Lots of fancy bells and whistles, but…

When I joined up, I posted three comments in three separate threads. No friendly “welcome aboard” from anyone, in fact all of my posts were completely ignored. On closer inspection the admin was a freak, weighing in with personal opinions on almost every topic then openly criticising people who had the temerity to disagree – even threatening to close down one thread because people wanted to keep arguing that Tiger has had more impact on attitudes to golf than Arnold Palmer had. Despite the fact that that was the actual topic. Sheesh.

By the way, I’ve looked over HopSings posts and I’m pretty sure he’s a 14 yo taking the p*ss.
