Has anyone been to the MGA before?

I am in need of some coaching and wanted to know if anyone knows what theyre like?

They have about 6 or 8 pro’s there.2 females I think.
It’s a good facility especially if you want to work on your short game. You can have a 1 hour lesson with Steve Bann or Dale Lynch for about $130…..

IS MGA in Sangdringham?

I think so.At the Capital Golf Course near the Moorabbin Airport…..

Where is course. Range only all I see.

Be more Heatherton/Dingley then Sandi wouldnt it?
But yeah across from the airport.

Thanks Roo… going to go down to their driving range and have a look on Saturday.

COURSE

From what hear the course is pretty special.Last I heard it was owned by Lloyd Willliams and is by invitation only…

Capital is a high flyers club. Usually high rollers from the casino and business elite only play there..

yup… i remember they closed the whole thing down to let Michael Jordan play a round on it.

looks absolutely beautiful… i mean come on… even the driving range fairway uses Santa Anna Couch grass so imagine what the course would be like

The course is in great nick, very few people play it. But its design is poo-pooed by many people and has been discusse don other threads here.

HopSing I think you are talking about the Sandringham driving range on Wangara Road. MGA is on Centre Dandenong Road.

Back to original Q – I hear the coaching at MGA is very good, and Michelle (Howard?) is recommended.

Great coaching out of MGA. Denis McDade is highly recommended. Forget the course it is a Lloyd Williams/Crown Casino ownership and is for high rollers and ‘mates of LLoyd’ only. It is situated opposite the Moorabbin Airport and you can view the website for all info.

Of all the melb driving ranges I’ve been to. MGA would have to be my favourite.

I went the other day during my lunch break and it was a fantastic range but the only thing it didnt have, unless i didnt look properly (which i didnt i spose), was a grass tee section.

I hate using the driver from the mats.

But the facilities were awesome, no doubt about it.
