Most of you dill’s wouldnt realise how much Allenby does for Australian Golf or Charity, he has almost raised $10M in the last few years for his charity – kids living with cancer.

He is a top bloke who plays golf because he loves it, and for no other reason.

He wants to win and is very hard on himself.

Every interview he did on the weekend at ther Masters, he presented himself very well and looked like one of the nicest blokes there.

I would think before you knock him again.

can’t argue with his charity work. good on him & its done with plenty of smiles & gdays i bet. but these blokes just dont get it .stop whinging & whining on the course just be themselves & everyone would be happy. he’s not the only one by the way. also dont give me the i’m at work out here crap..when i’m at work i have to smile & be happy & joyous all day everyday. its about time the big sponsors pulled their money out when they see how robotic the golfers they sponsor are.

Allenby is a great bloke, doesnt deserve all the flak he gets, lots of it drummed up by the media to get some attention because the golf industy is very boring, there are no personalities at all in golf.

Maybe all the knockers should read a little deeper into his life and see what a good guy he is and how much he does for the sport and less fortunate people.

He does heaps for charity and golf, but he did have a dog of a day.. If he shot -6 that day, perhaps we wouldn’t have heard his complaints….

When he was showing his bag and equipment to the TV guy in the car park before the 4th round, he seemed pretty decent and down to earth in the way he spoke…..

I was there on Saturday when he copped the abuse, there is no need for that type of behaviour at the golf, the language they were using was a bit much, at one stage it looked like Badds was going to have a word with the bozo’s but security stepped in

He also copped it from some blokes in the clubhouse balcony on the 18th

Anyone that knows Allenby knows he’s a great bloke, always one to offer interviews, not afraid to tell it how it is but very down to earth.

He does plenty for the game and its a disgrace to see people giving it too him like they do. He will be sorely missed by the game in Australia if he decided never to come back.

Allenby has a point, like shit, if GA want to give the game some ‘spunk’, it’s risky to bring the good old ‘drink’ into the equation. I see a time bomb awaiting at the Aussie.

I’ve now moved to enjoy Allenby, his position and views as to Australian golf.

He’s a straight shooter and yes, whilst in the past he did at times get under your skin and you got the shits with him; but he is one fine golfer and does show that odd bit of emotion on occasions.

Like the new leader of the opposition, I’m entitled to change my views!

Unless we get some “spunk” back into the game, the sport will be as attractive as “Sunday Morning Lawn Bowls” with the over 60’s at the local Bowling Club.
