I got to say the worst shot I have seen by a pro was furyk in the US open when he skinny his iron and he was on nice fairway. Another one is when Harrington topped his fairway wood and went only inches haha.

They only show the players that are in contension for tournament wins on tv, therefore in form. You should see some of the shots the end of the field players are hitting. They just don’t show them as it will embarrass them.

Par 3, 170 yards, water carry. Hitting a 7 iron, fat (about 100 yards) and then off the tee again holing out for a par. Thanks for coming. The guy shot 63 on this day (7 under) at Cable Beach (Bahamas)-to win the Pro-Am, also hit 2 bunny fark 1 irons on par 5’s and still made birdie on them. Was he embarassed? Nup. The major difference between an amateur and a pro is that a pro forgets about their last (bad) shot and deals with the next shot.

I saw Greg Norman skinny a ball through a bunker, he turned to abuse a photographer for taking a shot during the swing but as he was blasting the guy his ball popped out of the bunker and rolled into the hole! No matter how pissed of he was he couldn’t stop laughing.

Gary Player at The Vines on 18 playing skins with Trevino and Marsh. A shank off a hill into the Lake on the right. Followed by a fat short one into the lake in front of the green to fill Trevnio’s pockets for the day.

Hard to beat Apples on the Fox Golf Show with Brett Ogle. Asked to demonstrate his swing and add his swing thoughts he then proceeded to shank a nine iron….. beautifully filmed and you have got to admire the producer for showing it. It gave us all a lot of self belief in the game and just proved how difficult this game can be.

2007 PGA Champioship at Wentworth the soon to be US Open champion topped his tee shot and didn’t even make the start of the fairway , Angel then had to hack it out of the thick rough. He did make a go at it after that and then stunned us (well me anyway) with a great win at Oakmont.

teed off on a par 3 with like 7 iron, shanked into the hut too the side of the tee and rolled back about 5 inches short of the ladies tee.

I can’t recall a specific shot but I just think there should be no way a professional golfer should miss a 1 foot putt. All these guys do is hit golf balls all day every day, spend countless hours on the putting green and to miss a 1 foot putt. That is a cardinal sin for a professional golfer, and you do see it more often than you should.

I saw Tom Watson hit it off the heel of his driver, a low pull straight into the gallery. Saw Mike Clayton snap a wedge over his knee at Royal Melbourne one day, so it must have been a bad shot. Or that’s just Clayts.
