Does anyone know if Ten is showing the four days this year? Or will it just be Fox Sports??

I thought Diffey was going to be bad enough...Tim Webster as well! We're obviously going to have to hear about TW playing golf with his "mate" Peter Lonard" at Oatlands each Ad break.

I hope to hell they are not based at Augusta...otherwise we'll see bugger all.

Jeez, I hope so, but I get country TV (Bendigo) ... no guarantee that Southern Cross/10 will actually transmit in HD, they didn't do it with the AFL last Saturday ... only SD up here.

It's timed from 5.30am every morning starting Friday.

From what I can see on an online TV guide Ten are starting at 05:45 Syd time. If I'm using the online timezone thing right thats 3.45 in the afternoon eastern time in the states?!. With the last group of the day out at 2.15 thats not a great deal of coverage. Are we looking at mostly highlights?!?

Expect about an hour of Arnold Palmer being the honorary starter, about 3 minutes of other highlights stretched out to about an hour and a half, and all of Tiger's back nine.

the masters website has radio so im hoping it will sync up with the telecast, diffy and webo are not a good combo

should be good this year, 10 should maske a real go fo it since its there first year with it

The first 2 days always have a somewhat limited coverage.

The full coverage begins on the weekend at the Masters...they show all 18 holes. Much better than what it use to be. Up until about 5 years ago, they never showed anything before hole no. 8. The occasional roving camera on 6 & 7, but nothing before that.

They transmitted in HD! Amazing picture. Those hillsides full of azaleas were beautiful. Oh, yeah, and the clarity of the golf ... experienced nothing like it before.

BTW, the country HD channels still don't show ads. We get nice demo loops of pretty scenery for the duration of the ad break. How do they make money out of that?

The HD Widescreen pictures were just fantastic...almost felt like you were there.
