3 birdies on the last 4 holes...

Smashed them.

putt,putt,putt,pftt.

What happened to Quinney...5 shot swing towards the end, but what did the caddy do wrong?

Wish some of my playing partners would adopt that method...standing over that putt for 5 minutes isn't going to help you sink it.

Well done to Badds.com, good to see the Aussies sticking to the yanks already

Firstly good win by him.

Secondly again great to see his wife out supporting him, always an added bonus.

And lastly what are peoples thoughts on one of the commentators yesterday saying that Badds could win a lot more tournaments, because he has a better putting and chipping game than Tiger, it is only his ball striking that is holding him back? I heard this and almost fell off my chair

geez who said that? Tiger is from another planet. The man is incredible and the only one who will beat him is himself and I can't see that happening soon.

Steely resolve!

If I need someone to make an up and down for my life, I know who I'd pick first. No disrespect to Badd.com, but Tiger has proved his short game can withstand immense pressure... Given a few years contention in the majors and Badds may yet prove to be a champion in his own right.

Hey, wasn't it great to see 'The Good Lord' get a mention in AB's interview straight after the round.

"I'm just amazed at God's goodness in my life...he's my all, my everything and I just love him so much".

I just can't get enough of his preaching...great stuff!

i think hes the best putter in the world, but his tee game still sux.

Quinney's caddy is an idiot, but choking on the putt is what cost him, not the poor advice for the drop.

Badds probably makes more ten footers than Tiger, but if my life depended on such a putt Tiger would be putting every time.

oh to sux that bad!

i should qualify that to be 'in relation to the rest of his game'

If he was around the 50-100 mark in all-round driving stats he would win a hell of alot more tourneys.

I've never seen anyone just walk up to 10 foot left to right down hill curlers so often and just knock them in without a hint of a nerve.

His putting is amazing, not just the fact that he holes so many - but how he holes them!

Can someone please enlighten me as to what happened here?

Watched Henrik Stenson last night (replay is on now) and he was impressive also. I reckon he is the man who might get up there with Tiger or near him in a round about sort of way.

Could be wrong!

putt,putt,putt,pftt.

he hit it in the p#ss on 17.

The pin was tucked at the back left of the green. He could have dropped it on the fairway and had 40 yards of green in front of him and a perfect line to the pin. Instead he dropped it in the rough and had a 40 yard water carry and about 15 feet of green to work with.

He knocked it to 6 feet and missed the putt. I'm not sure he would have put it any closer from the fairway, but why make the game harder?

Moe it was getting hard for him no matter where he played it. try swinging on the choke!

Interesting but is the fact that pros are not as well versed on the rules as you would expect! Gary Player had an intimate knowledge of them and wasn't afraid to put his interpretation on them to help out! Bend don't break!

Knowing the rules can always be an advantage.

I had an unplayable last week (I love the fact that it is only the player who can deem his ball unplayable!) in a hazard - so I walked back 60 metres to where I could get my 7 iron over the trees and cut the dogleg - salvaged a point from the hole. If I had to drop near where the ball was, I was fvcked.

I'm no rules expert but I'm pretty sure that you can't declare a ball unplayable in a water hazard and if you're in a bunker you must keep it in the bunker, or you can go back to where you last played. You can't go back behind the bunker as you would for a regular unplayable lie. I'm sure someone who knows the rules better than I can clarify this for me.

you are correct !! but I'm pretty sure you can do the line of sight thing from dropping out of a lateral water hazard, and keep going back as far as you like in the same way as an unplayable

the one i love is being able to drop either side of a lateral water hazard now.

you don't declare it unplayable in the water hazard - you can just choose to go back or play it as it lies.

Sorry - I mis-represented myself. Right use of rule, wrong use of terminology (I shouldn't have said "unplayable") - I was in a lateral water hazard. I used option b ...

If a ball is in or is lost in a water hazard (whether the ball lies in water or not), the player may under penalty of one stroke:
a. Play a ball as nearly as possible at the spot from which the original ball was last played (see Rule 20-5); or
b. Drop a ball behind the water hazard, keeping the point at which the original ball last crossed the margin of the water hazard directly between the hole and the spot on which the ball is dropped, with no limit to how far behind the water hazard the ball may be dropped; or
c. As additional options available only if the ball last crossed the margin of a lateral water hazard, drop a ball outside the water hazard within two club-lengths of and not nearer the hole than (i) the point where the original ball last crossed the margin of the water hazard or (ii) a point on the opposite margin of the water hazard equidistant from the hole.
The ball may be lifted and cleaned when proceeding under this Rule.

when i left home this morning he had just made bogey and Quinney has just made birdie.
I think it was about 14 or 15?
I thought he was gone, great effort, cant wait to relive it on Fox tonight.
Badds.com is a superstar with the flat stick!

Baddley's putting is amazing, if Scott could putt like that then Tiger 'MAY' have some competition.

The Uniting church should make a video of Badds putting. After watching him shell 10 footers for 10 minutes, I'd sign up. He's up there with Crenshaw, Faxon and Nicklaus for volume of putts effortlessly nailed (but if my life depended on it I'd have Tiger hit the pressure 10 footer).
