And that cockiness has now been stoked even more by him coming out with “an official woman”.
He’s playing well, the game is all about confidence, he has his swagger back. I think he’s on a mission. I think he go close in two majors this year.
And I would personally love to see the TW haters eat humble pie. Not condoing his off course behaviour but when he’s on fire he makes everyone look second rate.

yep agreed…
like father like son/....
im a tiger fan, pretty much the greatest thing that has happened to the game in my lifetime anyway,....
The days of v-neck pullovers, lifted pinky fingers whilst having a mid round earl tea, saturday night balls and dinner dances and valet parking is all done and dusted….
The game of golf and it’s associated image must and IS changing. Its evolving and changing, NO different to other sports….
there are things i like and dont about it, but realise it is 100% needed to keep up with the times and promote the game.
Hey I see an even number of players now at private clubs with shirts out than in…..(who would have thought?)
sure, the “prestige” tournament or series is great for the sport, it needs to stay, like cricket has the ashes, tennis has Wimbledon, golf has the masters etc blah blah, and thats great, that keeps it real…
but unless it evolves, all the old 70-80 years olds will die off, and the game will suffer…Not die, but suffer badly…
we have already seen signs of it….
so in all honesty, im a traditionalist within our game, but the fluro clothes, funky this and that, the modern media, the terms, the aggression etc, all that shit – THIS GAME needs it to stay alive, to stay interesting to the era’s coming through. Because like it or not they aint interested in sipping club soda whilst picking at a Waldorf sandwich….

I follow her on FB.
Nice to look at but her posts make it clear that she’s nothing more than a vacuous, pretentious, social climbing, gold digging, cash-for-comments, loves-herself-to-death, wanna be.
Apart from that she’s great.

Dave, its pretty well documented that Jack wasn’t perfect when it came to monogamy also. He might have even had an Aussie wife for a while there…... No doubt Tiger has a vastly different temperament than Jack but just as good to watch.

Back in the day the journos had an unwritten code about keeping what happens on the road on the road. Players and journos “played” together and had a mutual understanding.
Nowadays to many online and print mediums and many journos cant be trusted. They want to make a name for themselves so players a lot more guarded than before.
Every word they say is scrutinised, just look what happened when Rory mentioned his mental state, then story became quickly changed to tooth issue.
Branding and image = $$ so have to play golf well and be seen to “play well” off the course.

Anyone who thinks the “old boys” were cleanskins is jerking themselves off big time. They had the luxury of no internet, mobile phones, mobile cameras etc. Things were a lot slower back then nd news didnt travel as quickly as today.
Arnie and Jack were at the top of the tree

Thats right….and it was wildy known on tour and referred to as “The Kings” rule. i.e) What go’s on on tour stays on tour.

For journalist, commentators and TBH anybody there is little harm in the nudge nudge wink wink innuendo and general taking of the piss (Allenby, Tiger, whoever) but it’s not a good look trying to get personal mileage out of someone else’s mistakes.
Pretty poor form to try and establish just how shiny your own shoes are by raking in someone else’s mud pile.
