Haven’t been there for a while as the balls were a complete disgrace, grey and waterlogged and about $23 a bucket. Also the mats were worn and stuffed.

Im the other Tom Watson and I once got a Bronze Medallion Lifesaving Certificate whilst wearing striped pyjamas.

Balls are brand new srixon range balls. No problem with the mats so I guess they’ve been replaced.

A good chance to hit many different golf clubs without a salesman breathing down your neck.

I’ve got Golf OCD and can’t stop thinking about golf 24×7, so this is brilliant and I can’t wait to go.

Never been to a golf expo so looking forward to it.
I recently bought a TaylorMade Rocketballz driver and am in love with it, so looking forward to seeing the TaylorMade stand

I hate hitting off mats, aren’t you guys the same?
I hit balls at Barton Park in Sydney and love hitting off the regular grass for irons, even with tees for my woods…

Ping G25 driver
Cleveland 52, 58 deg wedges
Putter: Odyssey Versa 90 #7 putter
Brosnan Taipan 4i-SW, 3W, 5W, 3H
Balls: Srixon Z star yellow + Vision yellows
Favourite shot: 110m out from the hole with my PW (hitting green 70% now)

Agree re the mats, hate them with a passion. Only ever go to Moore Park if the rain is that hard I have no choice.

Bummer this event isn’t on on a weekend…

Tramps like us, baby we were born to run.

That’s what a sicky is for
:)

Tommywatson what range would you practice at?
I only go to Barton Park, but keen to understand where others go

Went down to the expo today. Callaway and Titlest the busiest stands by far.

Cannot belive how long and straight new drivers are. The only one that wasn’t as forgiving was the Cally. The Nike Covert Performance and The RBZ Stage 2 were clear winners.

Fell in love with Mizzys all over again sighs

Golf tragic.

Repeat winner of the NCCSSC Booby Prize. Mmm, boobs.

Cullens to hit real balls off real grass mate

Was good fun alright, went for about 3 hrs

Bought a 52 and 58 RTX 588 Cleveland wedges from the Cleveland guys, thanks for the help guys on the stand, very helpful and friendly. Love the wedges, got a box of balls thrown in as well

Some beautiful clubs, the TM guy helped me work out the settings for my RBZ driver series 1

Really enjoyed a lot of the clubs, I liked the blue Cobra driver actually and the Ping, ah, liked a lot in fact, was awesome trying out so many clubs and having a real hit

Shame moore park have a hard surface, when chipping, you just don’t get the feeling of watching a nice chip land, roll and go onto a green like normal! It’s like concrete, so a ball bounces 30ft in the air so you on;y really get half the experience
