So Rory has an “honesty is the best policy” approach? Yes, that appears the case after he releases media statements based on lies that get caught out and questioned. He is certainly honest after that.

This wasn’t a hanging offence but spare us the mindless dross that this was an exercise in honesty.

So let me get this right?

Friday- “I’m not good mentally” and “my tooth hurts”

Fast forward to Wednesday- “I wasn’t good mentally and my tooth hurts but not enough to WD, I’m sorry it won’t happen again. I made a mistake”

Is mindless dross to you?

Hahaha. You crack me up . maybe you should spare US with your pessimistic dribble.

“If Ben Hogan saw that, he’d puke…”

Nah, cool re-writing of events though. At first he said he was in a bad place mentally.

Probably at the urging of management who knows what a terrible look it is, he then released a media statement a couple of hours later that specifically said he had to withdraw because of the pain of the wisdom teeth issue.

He then proceeds to practice for 10 hours the following day.

There is a huge amount of criticism of his actions and his media statement is quite rightly outed as at best misleading.

He then admits as much and offers his regret.

Then we have people saying that it is great that he has an honesty is the best policy approach. Haha….yes….mindless dross.

Oh well who knows it could be that he is too wrapped in playing with. Whatasnatchy

Im the other Tom Watson and I once got a Bronze Medallion Lifesaving Certificate whilst wearing striped pyjamas.

He had to have a dental problem for the record to be allowed to withdraw otherwise he faced possible suspension from the PGA tour.

Play it as it lies, get on with it, its not life or death, its just a game!
