Lucky enough to play today in the Vic Open Pro-am with a couple of buddies at 13th Beach (Creek Course).

Sarah Oh was our professional and she played well, shooting 2 under – very consistent. Our team also played well, finishing just out of 3rd place. Sarah is playing on the Korean Tour this year.

Sarah was very friendly, liked a chat and we all had a ball. She even gave me some tips on my shanking issues (I only hit one). Had a nice complimentary lunch afterwards and a few Crownies as well.

First time I have played the Creek Course and it was better than I expected. In fantastic condition and some interesting holes – I still think the Beach is better, but the Creek is worth a look.

Had a great day and we asked Sarah to include us in her victory speech if she wins. :) Hope she does well.

could have got free tickets to this one however i thought the isg open is more important than some second rate comp at barwon heads 13th beach

Always lots of free tickets for this event and so there should be. The biggest sponsor of the two events is you, me and all the other affiliated golfers. Before the merger the ladies association couldn’t get enough coin together to have a pro event at all. Now the with us blokes as sponsors its one of the richest ladies events in Australia.

I will be there as a rules walker for all four days, looking forward to it. The only downside is having to miss our Sanctuary Lakes game.

You missed an “easy” course at the “home of Stink @ Kunti,” Shrekie.

Winner had nett 64 then there was a 66, and 67 and up. Balls down the line went to 70 I think

No such thing as an easy course when you have the shanks Frank.

I have to practice it. So is Club Kunti a pitch and putt course then?

Well…........we hit off on the 5th hole (shotgun) and I didn’t hit driver until the 12th hole. Tight but not overly long. Some holes and there’s not much room to draw (RHander).......you may not like it. :-)
