Public access driving range near Balwyn / Camberwell...

Hi, I’m looking for a public access driving range somewhere around Balwyn / Camberwell / Ashburton area. I have an hour to kill this afternoon in the area so thought I’d hit some balls. Done a google search but not really finding anything, any ideas?

Closest is probably Bulleen although it isn’t that flash. Yarra Bend is a better range and pretty accessible if you just fang down the Eastern Freeway.
If I could have any professional golfer’s name and any professional golfer’s hair, I would have Robert Rock’s name and Robert Rock’s hair. |

I was going to suggest Bulleen….but as BGH says…and understates significantly, imo, it certainly is NOT flash. Like hitting crap golf balls in a municipal tip….but hey…it meets the geographical requirement. Yarra Bend…or head the other way to Moorabbin to MGA? May be out of your range from a time perspective.

Thanks, MGA is where I normally go but don’t think I’ll have time to get there and then back to Balwyn in time for plans tonight. Could possibly try Bulleen, what’s Bulleen rd like at around 4pm?

Should be ok at 4….by 4.45 it will start to get ugly.
