Nice Cabbage! She certainly was a looker. Definitely the poster girl of women’s golf in her day. There was no doubt that our girls were a cut above most countries in her time. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was a clayton’s ambassador for all the golf pros that visited Australia when our Open meant something. The word got around that Jan was typical of Aussie girls. Now when you visit the cities, what do you see? Our Jan was a realist, if nothing else. Totally ignorant about almost everything except golf.
