How’d you find Lakeside mate? It’s no Lakes, but it’s a nice course in my opinion. Lovely couch fairways last time I was there…

I loved it. A few greens were a little beat up. But they were rolling well. I was pleased overall. Lovely track

Yeah, greens were bumpy in places when I was last there, but it’s quite pleasant out there. Quite a few good holes out there, only two bland-ish ones in my opinion (3 and 13). Good value for money as well.

If you become familiar with this course, you can say that you have paid a visit to not only St Andrews but also the hallowed fairways of Carnoustie, Royal Troon, Royal Birkdale and Royal St George. I know them all well and there’s a little bit of each of them here.
