Rule regarding addressing the ball

Some advice please.

Is there a rule regarding changing your club after addressing the ball?

Say for example you’ve chosen a 6 iron for a shot to the green. You address the ball, but before starting your back swing, you have a change of mind or a tail wind picks up & you decide you’d rather use an 8 iron instead. Are you allowed to change the club?

If not, when is the latest stage at which you can make the change?

Pretty sure you can change club whenever you want to, but if anyone thinks differently I’ll stand corrected

You can change your mind as often as you like, up until you make a stroke, and provided you don’t unduly delay play.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Obviously you don’t want to fart arse around & slow up play, but there are times where you just need to make the change! Good to know it’s allowed!
