Practice Rounds at Tournaments

Been watching a few clips on line and got this little morsel that I thought I’d share.
The guy said that for golfers a practice round is such a better time to go. Less crowds. Easier access to watch players and maybe get autographs. But his number one reason was in practice rounds you’ll see a bigger variety of shots taken by top players. More chips. Bunkers etc.
he then said to avoid the crowds and watch the tournament at home.
Sounded like a pretty smart idea…...I’d imagine practice rounds are cheaper too?
