13 hcp, new to country, no contacts looking for a Melb club

I would love to join a top tier club but have no contacts within the top clubs. I have a friend at Woodlands but not interested in joining there. Sorry if I offend you, just not a fan of the course. I am 40 and don’t mind spending the $$$$ that it takes. Just bloody difficult to crack into those places. I live around Kew and would love to get into RM, KH, Vic, etc, etc.

Why don’t you like Woodlands? Keysborough has many fans here. You could join there quite easily.

It’s not really a secret, I’ve told lots of people, and a few of them joined up. Quite a few of us Beaky boys in here.

Well im fairly skeptical of people that are always skeptical, didn’t i say don’t believe me, try for yourself….im just putting it out there mate…he didn’t say where or how much he was prepared to spend other than he didn’t like woodlands….

Absolutely, no issue with course or the post, just reckon its a silly (and over used) saying because if something (in general) were any good it wouldn’t be a secret. Haven’t played Beacon Hills but heard it goes ok.

well i was just getting in early before OB and the boys wind me up..by the sounds $$ is no prob, Id recommend to Caunuck..Yarra Yarra, Spring valley others could recommend something that could be closer to Kew

No one has mentioned Commonwealth yet. I believe this guy might be a neighbour of BGH and we all know how “easy” it is to get into there. ;-)
