Marking Golf Glove - Peter Croker

Can one mark up the glove to show you how to grip club and play with it during competetive rounds? I was looking at Peter Croker’s recommendations for hand markings to grip the club and wondered if this can be brought into the game during play.

Yes, rules do not forbid.
Play it as it lies, get on with it, its not life or death, its just a game! |

Madam, I am good this festive season and looking forward to 2013 golfing season. How are you? I have found my swing, and not too soon. I chucked being a hitter out the window and followed everyone’s advise of just being myself. Its worked. Scored 37 stableford points on my last outting with my new swing. Have approached a new trainer on a recommendation of one of our iSeek members. New coach is Craig Bishop – WA Golf Team coach. I am in the process of making my own swing plane tool. Here’s some pics. Something wrong with ipload pics but nevertheless here’s the link http://www.footjoy.com/comm...

Shouldn’t that be “your back, how is it”?

Or “you’re back” as the case may be. Some gloves come with markings, special padding, etc.

Padding is not permitted, except for authorised medical conditions.

Thanks for that, Steb. I’m sure I’ve seen padded gloves advertised. The reference does confirm that ‘visual aids’ are permitted.

Yeah, you’re probably thinking of bionic gloves, which were outlawed for competition play (except for medical exceptions—see bottom of page). Then they released new compliant models which from memory were a thick glove through out, so didn’t have raised sections as such. I must say I have no idea why, on that page, mouthguards are not allowed without a medical reason.

Looking it up, Sporteeth mouthguards allow you to create more power and concentration by clenching your teeth, thus achieve maximum performance in your game. No comment.
