I played with a woman in Vegas the other day and thought she was just wearing these sandles when I seen the bottom of them.. I said i need to get a photo of these.. Would Australian courses allow these.. They are golf shoes/sandles after all..

Personally no I wouldnt choose to wear them but my first thought was you wouldn’t get on any Aussie courses with them..

Sandals should not be worn by anyone over the age of 12. Unless your heading to the beach or something like that.

Yes only if going to the beach but Socks(and red ones at that) with them is personally not my go either..

Assuming your question wasn’t entirely tongue in cheek, I’ve seen plenty of women wearing them on courses in Australia, sans the socks of course.

I’ve seen them for sale and also on the course.

No reason why a course would not allow them, they are “golf shoes”.

Might need to change footwear before entering the members’ lounge, though.

Highly appropriate if you were playing golf at the beach.

You could wear them at any course that doesn’t mention socks in their dress regulations. They’d be bloody awful after being in a bunker though.

The Irish arm of FJ has had many customer complaints regarding these.
End users have been most unimpressed by the lack of waterproofing.

Oakley make them and sell golf sandles in Australia. On some course on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast they do permit them.

After hitting out of a few bunkers, the sand get stuck between the sandal and my foot and I got some serious abrasions and blisters on my feet.

Never wore them since.

My local course has fairways covered in duck poo, going home in those after a days golf treading through that would be smelly?
