Bonnie Doon - where's it up to?

Flew over the Doon on the way in to Sydney a few weeks back and saw some construction on the 2nd I think it was, tweeked my memory that they are doing alot to rework it. Where’s it up to? Anyone know? Wouldn’t mind getting back there for a round when its done…

Stage 1 is complete (practice area, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 18th) and are in play. Work on Stage 2 (4 holes) due to start next. New holes are great and are now starting to bed in and are looking better every week.

Well worth a hit, it’s now playing a full 18. Sometimes a couple of the spare holes come in but to date since the new holes opened they have all been full holes and no temp greens or anything. Whilst the greens between the old and new holes are the main difference, it’s a good way to compare the new work. Haven’t played for a few weeks, but there was very little GUR and all the plantings were growing well and it’s a good time to see it all.
