Of course Tiger would support the ban on anchoring.He doesn’t need to do it and he keeps being beaten in majors (recently) by those who do anchor.If he can take that away from them he’ll inevitably have a better chance of winning.

Only golfers who have trouble putting use long putters. Get lessons and learn how to put properly. Should start from January 2013

Dudes, Let’s not be tools – the only person who should be turned off by Tiger putting his stick in a bunch of holes that are attached to blonde barbie doppelgangers is his former Wife, or any chicks out there that he may take/ask on a date from now until he kicks the bucket. That’s irrelevant to ALL conversations about golf. Yes he’s a wanker for doing it and you wouldn’t introduce him to your single lady friends, but it’s not like he cheated on golf, or on his opponents. Tiger didn’t do a Tonya Harding or Hansie Cronje (RIP, great cricketer, no offense intended). For the record, I reckon the anchoring ban is correct, and should be affected sooner rather than later.

Some years backTiger also alleged that virtually all the pros who were able to now outdrive him were actually cheaters who were using illegal drivers.This was despite the fact that they’d subsequently gone to larger drivers with longer graphite shafts and had taken the time to have them properly fitted for launch angle, spin rate etc.No doubt they’d also started working out for a change.In the meantime,Tiger had stuck with his old driver and a 43 1/2 inch steel shaft.But still they must have been cheating.

If he had a problem with the long putter Bernie, he should have said so a long time ago not just jump on the “bandwagon”. As far as Tiger is concerned, I loved the way he played golf but his attitude never impressed me. Hence, I dont care what he thinks…Mike.

This is incorrect. Tigers comments were based on the fact that on a par 4 his playing partner would outdrive him by 15 yards, then on a par 3 would use a 5 iron when he used a 7 iron (and he has always used traditionally lofted irons).

Mcilroy isn’t 40 years old mate and you are missing my point. I dont like the long putters either, never used one and dont intend to.My point is, I dont care what Tiger thinks.
