A mate recently pushed my cart and commented sheesh thats heavy, a week or so later and my cart broke. Thought i better take a load off and removed a dozen or so balls , leaving a good doz or so still there….so whats the norm?

Around 10 in my bag and 2 in my jocks.

Just two, but occasionally I put a golf ball in my pocket if I’m leaving my bag a distance from the tee. There’s always the possibility that a provisional might be required.

well as a good hacker i would have a good bag full i reckon i would have about 50-60 balls in my bag ranging from newies to oldies

I have about six in a little bag that I take out for putting practice and then have half a dozen or so new gamers

Generally around 12-15 of varying condition . We have water carry on 11 of our holes . Throw in o.o.b on 10 of our holes, on a bad day I’m 6 pills short

About 15-20, always carry a spare ball in my pocket but usually do not lose them, I seem to keep down the middle most of the time.

When I first saw this topic, I thought Kiwi must have started it. (After he saw my contents last Friday)

I tend to use my bag as a ‘storage’ and throw any ball I get from comp etc into the ball compartment. I don’t lose too many so they tend to mount up over time. After a few rounds they end up in another part of the bag…..where I use these in the practice netts.

I decided to clean out the ‘oldies’ the other day and they are destined to the local range. I have moved some of the ‘distance’ balls into this other part of the bag…........ but all up…. it would have to be quite a few dozen. Anyone from Vic that would like to hazard a guess this week….......all will be revealed on Sunday at Curlewis. The winner gets a couple of free balls. :-)

Probably about a dozen or two, somewhere around there.

Like others, I use a couple to warm up with in the nets ............ then as I play or practice most days, and play a couple of balls at a time during practice …..... I tend to go through them fairly quickly.

So I probably go thru half a dozen balls or so, each week.

For a comp round I’ll throw in a sleeve of new balls, so they do tend to accumulate.

I try to clean the bag out every couple of weeks and some of the more worn balls get relegated to my big box of “chipping balls” in the garage at home ….... while a few of the less worn balls become my warm up balls.

So it’s an ongoing rotation of balls thru my golf bag.

As for Frank’s ball count …..... put me down for 67 please.

I’m a little like WP I reckon, and probably around 24… A few newies and then a few worn balls of varying condition that get used as provisionals or on the first (OOB) or practice rounds. I’m pretty lazy during practice rounds so quite often I’ll leave 5 or 6 out there on the course if I’ve sprayed the long shots trying something different.

Current record is 8 balls lost in a round so would need to ensure that I’d always had about a dozen in there.

Also, I throw a few Vision balls to people who enquire about the gear…

4 Hex Chrome and 4 Penta 3;
10 goodish balls, about 20 Gamer V2’s and another 20 el cheepo’s

Maybe Half a dozen at the most,

I don’t normally lose too many so 1 ball will get a run for a couple of rounds then become a Warm up/Putting ball, when it looks a little bit worn I’ll either toss it in the Juniors bucket or just relegate it to a bag in the Garage that is slowly filling up..

On a side note, I love the Vision Tee I got at Sunshine…if nobody wants their one (I’m looking at you Gaz), I’d like a spare…

I’ve stopped losing so many balls now I’ve somewhat tamed my slice, so I’ve gone from ~20 to 6-8 gamers in one pocket of my bag, plus a half dozen of chewed up ex gamers that are now used as practise balls, or for teeing off over water :-)

About 12 to 15, Frank’s bag is FULL of balls.
