Bad enough that Porter should have these mean spirited thoughts without him choosing to burden others with them.

Im not basing it on his physical appearance! Steroids also dont make you bigger…They allow you to train more… They also affect your testosterone level… And affect your moods..Plus golfers are not tested! Yanks thought baseball was clean! Umn …Yeah right…All sports have drug users amongst its ranks ….
Golf is only a game…Yeah right who are you kidding? |

I have been sticking up for this man. Twitter is for twits and those comments are totally uncalled for. I wonder what his attitude would be if it was a friend or relative of his.
I will break 90 this year. It is NOT my age. It is NOT for 9 holes. I demand to be reinstated as reserve moderator(unofficial) |

Im neutral – he’s made some big calls but it will pass with time!

As far as I know EP isn’t playing the PGA. Think it’s quite conveinent that EP writes this book then plays in New Zealand and then doesn’t even try to pre qualify for the Australian Open but has played in some pro ams this week. Does he not want to play in Australia and see some of his good mates. I know a lot of them want to catch up with him.

About 3/4 through the book. As an autobiography it is pretty dull. Just a series of events with little insight into Ewan’s thinking or feelings or motives or philosophy. If I just took it as read I’d be inclined to find Ewan to be someone who struggles to control his temper and his impulses, and also who self destructs a lot whether it is losing focus, partying, blaming everyone else and not taking responsibility for his actions. And obviously who struggles with the mental discipline at the highest level. In other words he is a normal person who stuffs up! And who’s nerves sometimes get the best of hin. And I imagine this is the lesson for new pros considering the tour. The stress of travel is massive. And the mental ‘stuff’ needed to perform at the big tour level is not to be underestimated. Also, it is easy to get in your own way with drinking before rounds or losing your temper. As someone who isn’t ever going to become a pro but is very interested in the tours and the pro life the autobiography doesn’t make for an interesting read. It would have benefited from professional writing skills. It needed to bring more of the personalities out rather than being more like a diary of events. And some unifying themes to join the whole together. So a heck of an effort from an amateur writer. But I’m at the stage of forcing myself to keep reading (actually I’ve been at that stage for a fair while) just to finish. Not because I’ve become interested in Ewan’s story.

Think that’s mostly a pretty fair call Weetixbix. He’s clearly a bloke who made a lot of mistakes and learnt slowly from many of them, at times displaying some appalling immaturity. Still an interesting read in parts though. Not much else quite like it.

I think Woods was super Long as a string bean 15 year old, Hitting Driver 8 iron to par 5s where older teenagers twice his size was hitting a 3wd in Matchplay videos I`ve seen.More like teenage Brett ogle wide shoulders long arms and wiry.Young woods extra power came from being athletic enough to have the hips 40 plus degrees open at impact and arms catch up at impact, not lifting huge weights.A bigger version of Ian Woosnam who had power to burn too with same action. Rors can turn through the ball as good as Woosie in his prime. He has lost length since bulking up, can power out of US Open type rough with arm strength.Steroids used in Australian league clubs,

Just to clarify boys. I got drug tested 5 times this year. They make it random and everyone is subjected to at least 4 a year at anytime.. There is no getting around it or cheating when your number is called.. But the only people who know the results are the doc who completes the results and the commish,

Best if we lock this one down and move on. Some comments are becoming borderline slanderous again and I really don’t want any of our readers or myself get sucked into any legal issues with any of the players or companies that have been mentioned.
