YES A few posts were deleted in the past couple days.

As a site manager we cannot allow unfounded, speculative and potentially slanderous comments to be made about individual and /or specific organisations. A few comments were made about what a person might of seen but we have no way of validating if the comments are true or not.

Questions toward the book are fine as they are now a matter of public record. Any other questions need to be taken off line as it can come back to bite ISG, and the person making the post.

An understandable position for you to take Madam, but I can already see the gloating from pgamember and TTR: ‘99% of people love the book, and no-one disagrees with his version of events’.

Another example of the laws of defamation protecting people who don’t deserve to be protected. Hopefully those same laws can be used against the author if he has indeed been loose with the truth.

The book has been published and is in public domain. The author has put his name behind it, as well as his neck on the line. If there are “mis-truths” then that needs to be exposed using the correct processes, which is not by trying to expose here on a forum.

With having most on here using aliases to post behind- it can also be a bit unfair on making comments to the author who has put their identity on display. Its a no win situation.

All questions to the book are fine but there are grey areas I dont have a choice but to delete as they make mention of companies and specific people.

WOW…..totally agree with your rational as stated above but maybe the author should have thought first before using a public forum to pump up his book (sales).....I have nothing against EP but you’d think someone in his situation would think about the potential repercussions???

YES I agree with your original comments about author and potential repercussions.

Over the years weve had some good celebrity guests on here and the same thing always happens- they leave a loss for most of us here that did want to hear from them.

Peoples opinions on book are fine not an issue. If though those opinions then start naming people and companies then different issue.

Constructive criticism I would have thought would always be welcome, but some of the comments in this thread are bad manners and unwarranted. If anyone has legal problems with the book, discussing them in a public forum would not be the brightest thing to do. Perceptions of truth do get distorted but not just from one party.

I finished reading the book and prefer to keep my opinions to myself about Ewan as I don’t want to get into any slanging matches. After reading all the posts about the book I would still read it and filter the wheat from the chaff in both the book and the posts.
