Tiger Woods has apologized to several U.S. Ryder Cup teammates for his 0-3-1 record at the event last month in Medinah, Ill.
Europe, which trailed 10-6 entering the 12 singles matches on the final day of the three-day competition, rallied and beat the U.S. team 14 ½-13 ½ to retain the Ryder Cup. On the first two days, the duo of Woods and Steve Stricker lost all three of its matches.
Woods sought out U.S. rookies Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Jason Dufner and Keegan Bradley, according to ESPN.com.

Admittedly he’s still not 100% with the new swing, but it’s amazing that the greatest modern golfer has such an average Ryder Cup record.
Although I still don’t think USA lost it as such, I definitely think Europe won it on that last day. When you’re playing good golf but the other guys are chipping in from off the green or sinking monster putts, not much you can do.

You have started a thread entitled ‘Tiger Woods Apologizes’ yet there is not a quoted Tiger apology in the article.
It’s akin to those trash mags that state something as fact but the quote is ‘according to a close friend’ who they don’t name.
That egomaniac would never publicly apologise for his pathetic effort and I see none of it in this article.

Your being a bit pedantic I think Tack- they mention the source being ESPN. YES I agree not a direct quote from Tiger- but that is also a private discussion with his team mates.
Here is an updated link to this weeks event in Turkey where Tiger spoke to reporters. He doesnt straight out say it but once again a discussion between team mates.

There is no apology in that clip. You have copied a sensational headline with no basis in fact besides that you think ESPN is reputable and would not lie – they sucked you into spreading their website. Do you not think if they had the apology they would have played and quoted it?
This is how these things spread and become thought of as fact.
