went into have a look around today. Had a look at CG 15 wedge. Might go back and see what price they can do

Naga do yourself a favour and ring up the golf clearance warehouse in Melbourne. I got 3 CG15s for $350 instead of $450.

There’s many a slip ’tween a cup and a lip.

I picked up a 60 Deg for $119 and some Soft Feel balls for $22 so worth the drive in.

Well they have almost 50 stores Australia wide so they must be doing ok

April 12.7

Having 50 stores doesn’t mean that their Customer Service is large, It is purely sale Driven not what Customer Expectations!

I have left them for good because of Rude and EXPENSIVE FACTORS…try you y pro shop or go to one of golf clearance outlets, CHEAPER AND GOOD SERVICE. Save time and $$$$$$$$ stay away from punks!!!

Can’t see the problem with Drummond Golf at all. They’re just people who have their good and bad days.Mostly I just have a look around and tell them if I want to buy something.Prices are always very competitive in my experience.

I’m lucky in that my local store is staffed by a great bunch. Happy to have you hit anything with no hard sell.

My nearest Golfbox is staffed by half good, half rubbish staff. It all depends on the people.

And I tend to buy stuff when it’s superseded or on sale so cost works out about the same as other cheaper retailers and I get to support a local store that’s good to me.

My local Drummond could not provide better service. But it’s the people that run the store that makes a difference. No difference to any other shop really.

I’m glad it’s not just me. The first and last time I set foot in one of their stores the bloke was such an arse I’ll never go back.

I play very early in the mornings and last winter with all the dew on the ground my hands would freeze so I went to Drummond in Elizabeth St Melbourne to get some waterproof gloves one for each hand.

I told the the bloke what I wanted and he said they didn’t come in pairs I’d have to settle for a right handed one.. So I said something like “Left handed people want warm hands too.. Can’t I get one of those and make them a pair?” and he said “They don’t make them!” with a tone that just dripped with “How could you not know that?” He actually seemed angry at me.

F-wits abound. Plenty of stories on the other forum about Miles from Golfbox East Perth. That guy’s been a butthole for over a decade that i know of. Amazing how some people retain their jobs.

Umm two year old thread bump. Why. Jesus CG15wedges at $350.. Wtf were ppl smoking 2 years ago? That’s almost the cost of a set of irons.
