hi guys

after 30 yrs of playing golf..omg thats a long time,,lol i finally won a monthly mug or medal .

in 10 holes i had 6 birdies a double bogie a bogie and a par ..the bogies were both 3 putts

then i felt the pressure over the last 8 holes and ended up 1 over the card,par 71

yes i was happy but also dissapointed , the story of all golfers hey ??

i did win by 5 shots tho.lol.to bad they didnt have a leader board i could of thrown off

Gents, Puttalong is my golfing buddy at Taree. Plays a nice game and runs between about 5 and 7 most of the time. Just can’t play any good when he plays with me in a 4ball !!!

If he could stop changing putters every month he might even go better.

choose one putter you really like, buy one that is totally the opposite, that you do like, use it for practice when the favourite goes off… it brings your touch back.

No probs HCW…. agree, can’t trust 4bbb partners. As for putters , played a ‘Bullseye’ for yonks and upgraded to an Oddesy 18 months ago…. worst move ever. Tried going back but the strokes just stuffed. However will improve, some good signs last week.

Old Puttalong has either 3 or 4 new oddyssey’s that he has bought in the last 4 months. We worked out the other day that he has had about 30 over the last 4 years. He’s just a putter slut.

Oddly he doesn’t do it with his other clubs. I’ve known a few driver sluts over the years and smae with Wedges, irons, even bags.

I’ve had 3 in my 20 years of golf.
