Very professional video there MrC. You follow through looks great. Im not going to critique your swing though, thats a job for pros IMHO. Im getting my swing on vid next lesson. Should be interesting.

the only camera i have is on my phone and doesnt give very good quality movies :(

Thanks Chris. Yea I have made a few changes to ball position, hand position and rolling the wrists through impact under the dart instruction. I’ll get a vid up in a few weeks showcasing the differences. :-)

AussieJohn, TheWalrus is correct, anything with good enough quality will do. I used my digial camera, only problem is it doesn’t get sound.

Umm…the shot in the video i flushed, so the swing looks good…but that swing was very inconsistant, lots of pull hooks and OTT…if you see my body lifts up on the back swing then come back down…and also my hands get really high on the backswing, but shoulders don’t rotate much

That video was taken in a golf lesson… we worked on one piece take-away after that…at the moment my swing is a bit all over the shop…i mean, its probably more consistent…and i have shot some good scores swinging it a bit differently…but i couldnt really tell you how similar it is to that swing…really need to find a good coach to be honest…and join a club with better practice facilities.

Jarrod, some great positions in your swing, sort out the inconsistencies in height and you’ll be well on your way.

Mr C: nice straight shots but need to strengthen your backswing unless its just my eyes..

jarrod: nice swing the only thing i can pick out is how slow your backswing is.. try speed it up a tad..

Styles: where did the ball go..all i saw was the tee flying.. nice swing though..

A_B: excelent driving but you need to work on your balance you could at another 10-25 m onto your swing if you have a solid base.. it sounds a bit tricky as your a long driver but try it..

JARROD: try put a glove under your left arm and swing with it there try not to drop it ‘this keeps your left arm close to your body during backswing which helps all sorts of problems with your swing’

yeah, i know my arms are all over the shop in the backswing…but if you look at the pics coming into impact i reckon i am in pretty good position…ie right elbow

yes you are right about that but the glove may help with your draw issues.. have you tried slightly weakening your grip.. i think its just my eyes then..
