Discussion for TaylorMade debuts "Tour Van in a Box"

$1K for a driver….I don’t think so.

Be interesting to see if the other OEM’s follow suit.

Isn’t the Callaway I-mix line similar? You just don’t have to buy 3 shafts with the driver head. Forcing people to pay for 3 shafts is crazy

What a joke – Talking about other OEM’s following, I was at the Orlando trade show last month and Nickent and Callaway have launched this before Taylor Made. The best one of the lot was the Nickent Evolver. 4DX Head left the others behind as far as looks and the price was a lot better too.

“1,071 possible sets of launch conditions…”

What a complete load of b0110##$. You reckon anyone could actually differentiate more than 20 launch characteristics? (Mind you, I’ve got about 1071 different swings given how many weird and wonderful launch conditions I get with one fixed head and one shaft.)

Just more toys for golf tragics to show off I suspect.

Reverse every natural instinct you have and do just the opposite of what you are inclined to do and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing. - BEN HOGAN, POWER GOLF

More importantly, when is the SUMO Burner out ;)

imagine standing on the tee waiting for a guy to decide which shaft is right for the hole then changing his shaft. Talk about encouraging slow play!!!

Footy Season............over

Let the Golf Season begin.........

two awesome shafts though….. whitboard and the ozik…

still it is a bit of a waste….

and ian043 i don’t think you can make an adjustment to you clubs like that during a round, just like the weights.

Except,of course, that this would be illegal.
