Discussion for Tour Caddying: For Love or Money?

I ponder the thought? How much will Steve get for Tigers massive Fed Ex payout? I wonder what Steves all time “money ranking” would be comparing to many a current tour player? Fluff must be kicking himself.
You are kidding yourself if you think you can make it without hard-work. |

I would think it would be a fantastic job. Anyone pro golfer need a caddie!!

I am a little fuzzy on what a caddy to a pro golfers duties are,it can’t be just carry the clubs and pass me what I ask for. I know they help read greens, suggest shot’s and measure yardages. What else? Do they clean and maintain there clubs for them? Make sure they have everything in the bag, before they start? I would like an article on what the professional golfers caddie actaully does. What he actually gets paid for, because there must be more to it.

Did you know…..... That Steve Williams is the highest earning sports person in New Zealand. That to me is just crazy, com’on Cambo, you can’t let a caddy beat you on the money list!

“When O’Hern sank the winning putt during the play-off with Peter Lonard at last year’s Australian PGA Championship at Coolum, the look on both O’Hern’s and Williams’ faces was clearly one of relief.” Just to refresh my memory, didn’t O’Hern hole out from the bunker to win the playoff?

I believe he did, and he also missed an easy putt to let Lonard into the play off. Still I enjoyed the article..not a bad life for some.
