Handicapping system

Hi to everyone This is my first time in these forums! I am an organisor for a (very) social golf group. I have been looking on the web for a shreware/freeware system out there that I can use to calculate handicaps. The group I run is just a bunch of work colleagues and some of us handicaps and the rest don't. Those without handicaps (members of a club) have said they would like to know what their handicaps might be. I would like to know if there is anyone else out there that might be in the same or a similar situation. We play different games from stroke to stableford etc.. Most of the freeware systems I have come across are beta versions or trial applications which only last 30 days etc. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated. I was pointed in this direction by the editor of Inside Social Golf Magazine and he thought this forum might be able to help
Happy golfing

If you want to run your handicapping consistently then you are better off following the AGU model as a social club and maintain a handicap for everyone in your group (nothwithstanding that some may also carry an official handicap) as well. That would give you a reasonably level playing field. I have a spreadsheet that does the job but you would need to be reasonably cofortable with Excel and maintain a worksheet within the file for each member of the social club. It would be pretty easy to do. PM me if you are interested.
Beware of cheap imitations - Especially from the US |

PM me if you are interested. I would love the spreadsheet. I can’t work out how I can PM you, so I hope you can attach the spreadsheet to this post. Thanks
